Lern-It Terms of Use

1. Your Account Obligations

Most features on our platform require an active account. You are solely responsible for all actions taken under your credentials, so please keep your password confidential. If you detect unauthorized access, contact us immediately. Access is restricted to those who have reached the legal age of consent for digital services in their region.

To purchase courses, access learning materials, or publish your own content, you must create a Lern-It account. During registration, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete details, including a valid email address. You hold full accountability for your account and any consequences—including damages to Lern-It or third parties—resulting from unauthorized use. Account transfer to others is strictly prohibited.

Standard users and instructors must be at least 18 years old to manage an account independently. Individuals younger than 18 but over the local age of digital consent (e.g., 13 in the US) may use our Services only with the active involvement and supervision of a parent or guardian who manages the account. We will terminate any account found to be in violation of these age requirements.

2. Registration & Access Rights

Enrolling in content grants you a non-exclusive license to view it through Lern-It; it does not constitute a sale. You may not distribute or resell this content. While we typically offer long-term access, we may revoke content availability for legal or regulatory reasons.

When you enroll in a course, whether free or paid, Lern-It provides you with a limited license to access the material through our platform. Lern-It remains the licensor of record, and you do not acquire ownership of the content. You are prohibited from reproducing, sharing, or attempting to monetize the content outside of our authorized Services.

Our goal is to provide lifetime access to the courses you join. However, we reserve the right to disable content at any time if we are legally required to do so or if the content violates our community standards. Note that "lifetime access" refers to the course materials themselves, not to continued support from the original instructor or supplemental features.

3. Financial Terms: Pricing & Refunds

By initiating a transaction, you agree to provide a valid payment method. Lern-It provides a 30-day satisfaction guarantee for most content, offering refunds or credits if you are not satisfied with your purchase.

3.1 Pricing Policies

Course prices are established based on our internal policies and agreements with instructors. We frequently offer promotional discounts and limited-time sales. The final price for any Service is the amount shown at the time of checkout. Prices may vary based on your geographic location and whether you are a new or returning user.

3.2 Payment Processing

You authorize Lern-It to charge your chosen payment method for all fees associated with your purchases. We partner with secure third-party processors to handle transactions safely. If a payment fails but access is still granted, you remain responsible for the outstanding balance and must settle it within 30 days.

3.3 Our Refund Policy

If a course does not meet your expectations, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase. We reserve the right to issue refunds as original payment reversals or platform credits at our discretion. This policy does not apply to certain specialized services like subscription plans or certification vouchers. We monitor for refund abuse and may deny requests if we detect patterns of misuse.

4. Conduct & Content Guidelines

Lern-It must be used only for lawful educational purposes. You are fully responsible for your interactions and any materials you upload. All contributions must adhere to our safety standards and the law.

Illegal activities on our platform are strictly forbidden. Your behavior and any content you post—including reviews, questions, or courses—must comply with the laws of your jurisdiction. We reserve the right to remove any content or terminate accounts if we believe a user has violated these terms, infringed on intellectual property rights, or behaved inappropriately toward other community members.

5. Our Usage Rights for Your Content

You retain ownership of the original content you submit to Lern-It. However, by posting it, you grant us the necessary permissions to host, share, and promote that content across our various channels to help reach a wider audience.

Specifically, you provide Lern-It with a non-exclusive, global, royalty-free license to reproduce, adapt, and distribute your submissions (including your name and image if provided) in any media format. This allows us to market your courses and improve the overall platform experience without further compensation to you.

6. Assumption of Risk

Lern-It operates as a marketplace; we do not pre-screen every piece of content for legal accuracy or reliability. When you follow advice or instructions from a course, you do so at your own risk. We are not liable for any disputes that arise between students and instructors or for any losses resulting from your reliance on platform content.

7. Intellectual Property of Lern-It

Lern-It and its associated logos, software, and proprietary content are owned by us. You are granted access to use these Services for learning purposes only. Any attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise interfere with our technical infrastructure is a violation of these terms.

8. Subscription-Based Services

If you enroll in a Lern-It subscription plan, you receive access to a curated library of content for the duration of your billing cycle. You can cancel at any time through your account settings. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date. Please note that subscription fees are generally non-refundable.

9. Usage of Generative AI Features

Lern-It provides AI-powered tools to enhance your learning experience. You are granted a limited right to use these features and the resulting outputs for personal, educational use. You agree not to misrepresent AI-generated content as human-created or use these tools for any harmful or illegal purposes.

10. Certification & Exam Vouchers

Purchases of exam vouchers are final and cannot be returned or refunded. These vouchers must be redeemed through designated third-party providers before their expiration date. Lern-It is not responsible for the administration or results of these external certification exams.

11. Interactive Coaching Sessions

Our platform may facilitate direct coaching between students and instructors. These coaches act as independent contractors, not employees of Lern-It. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from these sessions and are not liable for the conduct of the participants. Interactions must remain professional and within the scope of education.

12. General Legal Provisions

12.1 Agreement Scope

By using our platform, you enter into a binding contract with Lern-It. This document, along with our linked policies, represents the entirety of our agreement. If any portion is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in full effect.

12.2 Warranty Disclaimers

Lern-It provides its Services on an "as-is" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available, error-free, or meet your specific needs. Your use of the platform is strictly at your own discretion and risk.

13. Resolving Conflicts

Most concerns can be addressed by our Support Team. If a formal dispute arises for users in the US or Canada, it must be settled through individual arbitration or small claims court, rather than traditional litigation.

YOU AGREE TO RESOLVE ANY LEGAL DISAGREEMENTS WITH LERN-IT INDIVIDUALLY AND WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN COLLECTIVE OR CLASS-ACTION FILINGS IN ANY FORUM.

14. Amendments to these Terms

We may update these guidelines periodically to reflect changes in our business or legal requirements. Significant changes will be announced via email or prominent site notifications. Continued use of Lern-It after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
